We would like to update you on how we serve and how God is working through this endeavor in NE Ohio. Though the A.R.K. was conceived to address the most immediate and critical needs of people, in the last couple years it has aligned with the Cleveland Clinic Department of Pediatric Oncology to address the most dire needs of families who have a child with cancer. For most, the need to be with the child 100% of the time disallows working. Consequently, some families fall behind on mortgage, rent, car payment, insurance, utility bills, medical costs, and much more. Their financial burden is overwhelming and exhausting, particularly in single parent families. All are families who have exhausted every avenue of assistance and have nowhere else to go…thus, the ARK. We are a very last resort. Though we gratefully serve all families regardless of cultural or religious background, this enables us to share the love of Christ at a time when they have nowhere else to turn and no one else to help. It has been amazing to see what the Lord is doing!
In 2023, the A.R.K. was able to assist families in excess of $22,000.00. But, we see a greater need moving forward, as it was shared that more and more children are being diagnosed.
